Dear BHS Basketball Alumni,
As we look to the 2011-2012 basketball season, we would like to bring you up to date with the excitement in the BHS Basketball Program. Last season, in Head Coach Bryan Tucker's second year, The Varsity Team won the Mundelein Thanksgiving Tournament then placed 3rd in the Jacobs Christmas Tournament. The highlight of the year was winning the MSL West Division for the first time in exactly 20 years and playing in the MSL Conference Championship Game for the first time in 32 years!
We have seven returning seniors this year to form a veteran team which has started the year with a record of 5 - 2. The Booster Club has many activities scheduled throughout the season and we want to update you on some of them as well as convey our enthusiasm for this new season.
Annual David Boe Alumni Game
Our Annual David Boe Alumni Game is quickly approaching. It is scheduled for Sunday, December 18, 2011 at 4:00pm. Please sign up for the game by visiting our website at www.bhsbasketball.org under BHS Pride/Alumni or contact Dave and Diane Bennett at ddkmsbennett@sbcglobal.net or 847-381-9311.
All Alumni are strongly encouraged to come out and play. We had a great turnout last year and hope to have another fun game. All of the Varsity players and coaches will be there to watch.
Our Main Fundraiser: Fantasy Sports Event Raffle
Our main fundraiser again this season is selling $25 Raffle tickets to win an all expense trip for two to your choice of one of six major sporting events or $8,000 cash. Please find the attached Raffle form and please consider sporting our program by buying a raffle ticket. The drawing will be at our home game on January 27, 2012 and the winner does not need to be present. We are excited about this Fantasy Sports Event Package that we are raffling off.

Throughout the season we will be posting up to date scores, photos, videos and more…We’ve already posted many team photos from the past so please send us your old basketball photos for the program and website. Email them to Boosters@BHSBasketball.org.
We are in the process of updating our database of all Alumni, but do not have all current addresses. If you know of any Alumni not getting this information, we would appreciate it if you would pass along to them. If your contact information changes, please feel free to email us Boosters@BHSBasketball.org.
