Bryan Tucker

Head Varsity Coach

Bryan begins his 9th season at Barrington after eight years as head basketball coach at Loyola Academy. Coach Tucker has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Notre Dame and a master’s degree from Chicago State University with certification from Northern Illinois University. His teams have accomplished a string of championships including conferences, regional, sectional and tournaments wins. He has five “Coach of the Year” awards to his credit.



Fritz enters his 20th year of coaching high school basketball and his 8th season with Barrington basketball. Coach Wulfram’s family includes his wife, Ann Marie and daughters, Nicole, Mackenzie and Jacklyn.

Chris Keehn

Assistant Varsity Coach

Chris was Coach Tucker’s varsity assistant at Loyola Academy and advanced scout at Marian Catholic before coming to Barrington High School. He was a three year varsity starter at Holy Cross High School and received a scholarship to play basketball at the University of St. Francis where he was an academic All-American and captain as a senior. Coach Keehn’s family includes his wife, Marcy, daughter, Kathryn and son, Anthony. ​

Michael Sowa

Assistant Varsity Coach

Michael begins his second year of coaching high school basketball. He coached two years for the Barrington Feeder Program. Michael was a varsity starter and captain of both the baseball and basketball teams at Barrington High School. He currently resides in Chicago with wife, Katie and his dog, Bruce.

Michael Asher

Varsity Team Manager

Michael begins his 14th year as manager for the Barrington High School  Boys' Varsity Basketball Team.


Head Sophomore Coach

Nate begins his first year coaching at Barrington High School. Previously he was a head coach for the Barrington Feeder Program for 5 years. Nathan graduated from Hoffman Estates High School in 2003 where he was starter and captain for the basketball team and a IHSA state slam dunk competition participant. After high school Nathan attended The University of Houston and is currently an IT administrator for Amita Health for the past 10 years.


Assistant Sophomore Coach
Bill enters his 9th season as a coach and 18th year teaching at BHS. Coach Bell was the varsity assistant for 3 years and the Freshman (Red) coach for one year. He attended Ferris State University where he played basketball and earned degrees in Commercial Art and Business. As well as obtaining a Masters of Education Degree at Roosevelt University, Bill is a national Board-certified teacher. His wife, Joan, is a counselor at BHS. 

Tim Martin

Head Freshman Coach (Red)

Tim enters his 11th season with BHS. Coach Martin has coached numerous travel, feeder and summer league basketball teams. He is in his 11th year as a Guidance Counselor at the high school. After graduating from Wheaton College, Coach Martin earned his Master’s Degree from National-Louis University and completed his second Master’s Degree from Concordia Unviersity


Head Freshman Coach (White)

Tim is in his 3rd season coaching at BHS after 8 years as an assistant coach at Morgan Park HS and Grayslake North HS. He has a degree in Social Studies and Secondary Education from Bradley University and a masters degree in Instructional Technology Leadership from Concordia University. Currently, Tim works with teachers to effectively integrate technology into the curriculum as the Digital Age Learning Coach at Barrington High School.


Assistant Freshman

Coach Tony is from Crystal Lake, where he attended Crystal Lake South HS and played football and basketball. Tony graduated from NIU with a degree in Physical Education and minor in Health Education. He coached at Marian Central Catholic HS for 4 years and was honorary coach in the 2014 McHenry County Area AllStar Game. This is Tony’s 4th year coaching at BHS and 5th year as a teacher.
